Reviews and Ratings
The hotel's location was very convenient, right across from the train station, making it easy to access nearby attractions. The rooms were beautifully decorated for the wedding, but cleanliness could have been better with noticeable dust and a coffee stain. The service was excellent, with helpful and attentive staff who even went the extra mile to cook us a delicious meal. The dining experience offered good, freshly cooked meals, but one standout staff member made the experience especially enjoyable. Despite the leaking issue in the room, the overall stay was lovely and comfortable.
The hotel offers characterful and comfortable rooms, despite some cleanliness issues like coffee stains. While the train noise disturbed my sleep, the location was excellent with convenient access to London and Birmingham. The dining experience was lovely though noisy due to passing trains, and the service was exceptional despite language barriers. Overall, a mixed experience with unique charm and great service.
The hotel offers lovely, individually designed rooms that are spacious, characterful, and very comfortable. The staff is very polite and responsive, making it a great venue to enjoy with family or friends. The location is handy, opposite the train station and with a really nice restaurant/bar area. The dining experience offers some very unusual choices, although some may find it noisy due to passing trains. Overall, the hotel provides above-average rooms with excellent service, but diners may prefer more traditional options.
